• Notes

  Fred was a boot maker by trade, he was an apprentice in this trade. After a while he left the trade to become an employee of the Merchants Soft Drink Co. Where his father was working. Here he drove a horse and wagon delivering soft drink to the districts of Malvern and Prahran. He was a very frugal man and purchased two adjoining houses in Regent St Richmond. His eldest son Ronald is currently living in one of those houses. The other had been sold at some earlier time.
