    • The details of Hetty Free’s marriage and family taken from Jackie Settle’s Rootsweb site ‘Blott and Brimson Family Tree and Related Families’ (last updated on 10 December 2005).

      The 1861 census shows Etty Goode (74 year-old widow born at Haslingfield) lodging at 10 Gold St St Andrew Cambridge. Also present are Martha Green (head, 60, widow) and Jane E. Baker (79, widow, lodger). Etty was said to be a nurse.

      The 1871 census shows Etty aged 86 living with her son William and his family at 25 John St St Andrew Cambridge.

      The Catherine House records show Etty, aged 86 years, died in Cambridge in the July quarter of 1871 (vol. 3b, page279).
