On. Saturday, January 21, a pretty wedding was solemnised in the Yarloop Wesley Church, between Rubeena, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gardiner, of Yarloop, and Frederick William, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Skeggs, of Hertfordshire, England, the Rev. G. R. Limb officiating. The bride looked dainty as she entered the decorated church on the arm of her father to the strains of "The Voice that Breathed O'er Eden," sung by the congregation with Mr. Walters at the organ. Her gown was of white satin with lace yoke and sleeves, set off with ankle-length veil and carrying a bouquet of white roses, chrysanthemums and pink forget-me-nots. The bride was attended by Miss Maud Gardiner (sister of the bride), and Miss .Gwen Brown (cousin). Miss Gardiner was attractively gowned in blue satin with white crinoline hat, and blue trimmings to match. Miss Brown was also attractively gowned in pink morocain with blue crinoline straw with pink trimmings. Both car- ried bouquets to match. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. G. Turkington, and Mr. Dan Gardiner (brother of the bride) was groomsman. At the conclusion of the ceremony the guests were conveyed to Mrs. Gillard's HaJJ, where the reception was held. Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner received the guests, the latter being gowned in floral morocain, relieved with grey and hat to match. The Kev. Limb acted as chairman, and thc usualFix this text toasts were honored. At the conclusion of the breakfast Auld Lang Syne was sung, and the guests adjourned to the station to bid farewell to the bride and
bridegroom, who left for Bunbury. The happy couple, who were the recipients of many beautiful presents and cheques, are making their future home at Narrogin.
