  Lillian lived in the town of Mornington in a large comfortable house built by her husband. I do recall them living in a small shed at the back of the block for a long time before this house was built. She like her sister Evelyn had a lovely garden and a spotless house. She was known for having an acid tongue partly I would think caused by her ‘goitre’. Her thyroid problems were inherited from her father ‘George Bruce Free’.
