    • I am related to Catherine Eleanor Curphey baptised or born 22/10/1823. I think it's the same Catherine as in the Brady Family Tree. She had Mathias, Eliza, William, John, Thomas, Frances, Edward & Joseph as siblings. Parents were Mathias Curphey baptized 23/9/1784 & Jane Lewin. Mathias' parents were Thomas Curphey (surname spelt Curghy in Parish Registers) bapt. 29/12/1749 & Jane Bancks bapt 15/11/1761. Thomas Curphey was a farmer & Parish Clerk in Braddan. They were all descendants of William Curphey bapt circa 1716 & Catherine Lovely bapt. unknown. (farmers in Braddan). I have other information on the family if you think it's your ancestry too.
      My mother's family are Curphey from NSW & her father Phillip James Curphey was born in Douglas, IofM in 1888. I think his great aunt was Catherine in your tree.
