George Shepherdson b 1760 East Heslerton, married Charlotte Banks b 1771 East Heslerton and they had 9 children George b abt 1793 William b 6 mar 1796 Mary b abt 1798 Mary b abt 1801 Charlotte b abt 1807 John Banks b 22 May 1809 Mary b 30 Jun 1811 Robert b abt 1813 West Heslerton Jabez b abt 1816 John Banks Shepherdson emmigrated to South Australia in 1837 aboard the ship Hartley. Robert Shepherdson, my Great Grandfather, married Hannah Ellison in Kyenton, Victoria on 2 Oct 1868. They had 5 children as follows Robert Ellison Shepherdson b 1868 John William Shepherdson b 1869 William Mountford Shepherdson b 17 Sept 1870 John Banks Shepherdson b 17 Sept 1870 Samuel James Shepherdson. b 1873 This informnation was given to me from my cousins who have been researching the line for quite a few years. On the information that you have got it seems as though Mary Shepherdson died in Tylden Vic in May 1867. Robert married Hannah Ellison in October of the same year which was registered in the Kyenton district of Vic. Kyenton and Tylden are in the same area. So it seems like the same man to me.
