  • Notes
    • Rev J Johnson was the celebrant. James deserted her and reportedly went to live in NSW where it is believed he died as a result of a fall from a horse near Huskisson NSW. It is believed that he was with an “Uncle John” whose name appears elsewhere imy family history (possible Mason) at the time of the fall. Eliza Nixon Innes (nee Waters) became the postmistress and raised their children single handedly in the Toodyay-Newcastle area, Florence (1876-1906), James (Jnr) (1877-1959), Basil (1879-1953) my grandfather and later Vera (1884-1965) and Lynda (1887-1977).
