    "MEETING OF CREDITORS:- A meeting of the creditors in the estate of Mr Joseph Warr, Butcher of Millicent, was held on Tuesday last. There were fifteen creditors present. Mr J R Percival was voted to the Chair. The Balance Sheet was read, which showed liabilities to the amount of 826 pounds 4 shillings and 6 pence, the biggest item of which was a claim of Mr T Vause for several years
    rent. .......... In reply to questions Mr Warr stated that he had built a shop on Mr Vause's property within the last two years, the greater part of which was paid for, and towards the cost of which Mr Vause contributed 12 fat bullocks valued at 5 pounds 10 shillings per head. Mr Warr said the shop had cost about 150 pounds. He had built two new rooms on the same property. ................"
