  • Notes 
    • Brothers John & William Devereaux were convicted for shooting a gamekeeper and wounding him while out poaching. I have newspaper accounts of their trial at Bedford on March 13, 1851. William was transported to Bermuda and did not arrive in Fremantle until after Bermuda was closed in 1862.
